UPF 50+ Sun Protection
Our mission has never been to hide from the sun. Rather, Rayward Apparel’s mission is providing a better, safer way to enjoy the sun and outdoors. To us, this means: More Adventure. Less Exposure. In practice, this means that all of Rayward Apparel’s products must have a UPF rating of 30 or greater, which is consistent with the Skin Cancer Foundation’s recommendations. The Shoreline sun shirt is no exception, offering certified UPF 50+ sun protection. As a result, our Shoreline UV shirts shield you from 98% of the sun’s UV rays, similar to an SPF 50+ sunscreen. However, unlike sunscreen lotion, our Shoreline shirts aren’t greasy, they don’t require frequent applications and they are UV-protective from the instant you put them on.
